On June 8, Purdue University Calumet's Michelle Rogowski will participate in
the American Cancer Society Relay for Life at the Lake County Fairgrounds.

Michelle will honor her aunt, who lost the battle with cancer, and
celebrate her mother’s accomplishment of being a survivor.

"My mother is my real life hero, which fits with the theme, 'There is a hero in you,' of
the Relay this year."
